Hale on iPhone and Apple Watch

Hale runs on the web, in an iPhone app and on Apple Watch. The iPhone app is the whole of Hale plus the one thing a website cannot do: read Apple Health for you. The Watch app is Hale at a glance.
Automatic sync on iPhone. Tap Connect Apple Watch once on My Data in the Hale iPhone app and choose the categories you allow. After that, new readings arrive on their own, in the background, whenever your Watch syncs to your iPhone: heart rate and HRV, VO2 max, activity, sleep and its stages, breathing, blood oxygen, wrist temperature, weight, and the blood pressure, blood glucose and water intake that other devices and apps log to Apple Health (the full list). Hale only reads; it never writes anything to Health, and Stop automatic sync on the same card turns it off.
My Data, in sections. What arrives is filed under Heart, Sleep, Breathing, Blood, Hydration, Activity, Body and Other, each with tiles for the latest values and a chart of the history.
Hale on Apple Watch. The Watch app (watchOS 10 or later) gets its own sign-in from your iPhone, and you can end it from the Watch, the iPhone or allhale.app. It shows a health review written from your own numbers — one to three sentences, or up to eight if you want more — your readings by section, This Week with the items of your plan to tick off from your wrist, and Ask Hale for a short answer to a quick question. A daily review notification arrives at the time you pick, and complications put the first line of your review, your plan progress or your resting heart rate on your watch face.
Live readings. On Hale Pro the Watch also sends its latest readings and today's running totals straight to your account, so the review can use what your Watch has measured today. Upload live Watch data in the Watch app's Settings switches that off.
Which plan. Apple Watch sync and live Watch readings are part of Hale Pro ($14.99 a month). The Watch app itself — the review, your sections, This Week and Ask Hale — also works on Hale Core ($4.99 a month), from the markers already on your account. Apple Watch is the only wearable Hale connects to.
What it is not. Hale is an educational wellness tool for adults 18 and older. It is not a medical device, it does not monitor you, and it will not alert you or anyone else.
