Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are a legal agreement between you and Just Hale LLC ("Hale," "we," "us"), which operates the Hale service. By creating an account or using Hale, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Hale.

Eligibility. You must be 18 or older to use Hale. It's for personal, non-commercial, educational use only.

Not medical care. Hale is an educational wellness tool, not a healthcare provider, and creates no doctor–patient relationship. See the Medical Disclaimer. You are solely responsible for your health decisions and assume all risk of acting on information from Hale.

Your account. Keep your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. Don't misuse Hale, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, or use it unlawfully.

Subscriptions. Hale is a paid service with two plans, Hale Core and Hale Pro; what each includes and its price are shown before you subscribe. Plans are billed monthly, in advance, through our payment provider, Stripe, and renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time under Settings → Account → Manage billing at allhale.app. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for. Partial periods are not refunded, except where the law requires it. Switching between plans takes effect at once, and the difference in price is settled on your next invoice. Deleting your account cancels the subscription immediately, and the unused part of the period is not refunded. In the Hale iPhone app in the United States, subscribing opens checkout in your browser; subscriptions are not Apple in-app purchases and are managed at allhale.app, not through your Apple ID.

"As is" — no warranties. Hale is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. AI output may be incorrect or incomplete.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hale and its makers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on Hale. Total liability will not exceed the greater of what you paid us in the prior 12 months or US$50.

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold Hale and its makers harmless from claims arising out of your use of Hale, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Dispute resolution. Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court, and you and Hale waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action (where this is not enforceable, disputes go to the courts of our governing jurisdiction).

Governing law & changes. These Terms are governed by the laws of our principal place of business. We may update these Terms. When they change, Hale shows you the new version and asks you to accept it before you continue. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate them.

Miscellaneous. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Hale regarding the service.
